Latest News for Undergraduate Offer Holders - SED Geography and Planning Merit Awards

We know you have some difficult decisions to make over the coming weeks about your future University career. The University of Manchester encourages applications from the most gifted students and we hope to be hearing that you have accepted our offer of a place at the School of Environment and Development.

We would like to let you know about our 2012 entry Undergraduate Merit Award.

Up to twenty of our highest-achieving new students, whether from the UK or overseas, entering Geography and Planning undergraduate programmes in September 2012 will be awarded £1,000 as a cash bursary in recognition of their hard work and outstanding performance at A-Level, International Baccalaureat or equivalent qualification.

You don't need to do anything extra to apply for the bursary. All new entrants will be automatically assessed for the award on the basis of their academic performance and their original UCAS application at discretion of the School.

Successful entrants will be advised at the end of August.
