Architecture for international students

Architecture

Our BA and BArch architecture courses are validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), providing exemption from the first two of the three stages you need to complete before becoming an architect. The courses are offered through the Manchester School of Architecture (msa), a joint venture between The University of Manchester and the MMU.

Geography

Geography is a unique discipline that bridges the arts and sciences, enabling you to understand global and local issues. A BA or BSc in Geography therefore provides you with a wide range of transferable skills that are highly valued in the job market. All Geography courses include field visits in the UK or overseas, and our 4-year BA/BSC programme also enables you to spend a year in one of our partner universities.

Planning

Interested in how our built and natural environment is changing? Our Planning courses offer you the opportunity to study town and country planning, urban and regional development and environmental management. Each course provides you with valuable employment skills, and some lead to full professional accreditation. All courses include fieldtrips and the option to study abroad for one semester.
