Directions and Maps
The University of Manchester website includes a map giving directions to the university campus and the location of the Samuel Alexander Building (building number 67 on the campus map).
To reach the Samuel Alexander Building from Oxford Road, please walk down Lime Grove – the building and entrance are to your right. Registration will be in the Samuel Alexander foyer.
Arriving by Plane at Manchester International Airport
The University campus is approximately 30-40 minutes by taxi from Manchester International Airport (more in the rush hour). There is also a rail service from the airport to central Manchester (Piccadilly Railway Station) and a bus service.
Arriving by Train at Piccadilly Railway Station
Delegates arriving by train can take either a taxi or the number 147 bus which provides a regular service between Piccadilly Railway Station and the north and south campus areas of the University.
Car Parking
For those who are driving to the event, parking is available in a multistorey car park at the rear of Manchester Business School on Booth Street West (about a 2 minute walk from the Harold Hankins Building. It costs approximately £8 for all day parking).
