ESRC Seminar Series 2007-8
Urban Design and the British Urban Renaissance
17-18 January 2008 at the University of Manchester
BY INVITATION ONLY
One of a series bringing together academics and practitioners to distill the design experiences of major British cities undergoing renaissance. The first meeting in Cardiff (November 2007) was a great success. Others will follow in Glasgow (April 2008) and London (June 2008). January's seminar examines the cases of Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and Leeds, devoting half a day to each.
