Approximately 70 applications were received for entry in 2010, and 25 students enrolled on the course. There are currently over 100 students on the course over three annual cohorts.

Degree awarded: Master of Science
Duration: 33 Months. [Part-Time - Distance learning]
Applicants will normally be expected to hold a Bachelors degree with a Second Class Honours, Upper Division or equivalent. The programme has been designed to accommodate participants from a broad range of backgrounds and relevant professional experience will be taken into consideration as a qualification for entry to the programme. Applicants who do not fulfil all the entry requirements for the Masters degree may be registered as Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate students. Such students whose performance has met the standard required at Master's level at the end of the fourth module proceed to the remaining modules and dissertation. Students whose performance has met only the standard required at Diploma level proceed to the remaining modules (excluding the reserach methods module). On satisfactory completion of all the modules they are awarded the Postgraduate Diploma.
Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2011, the tuition fees are as follows:
- MSc (part-time distance learning)
UK/EU students: £487.50 per 15 credit module £1,950 dissertation
International students: £883.75 per 15 credit module £3,530 dissertation - PGDip (part-time distance learning)

Students who successfully complete 8 units and the dissertation will be awarded an MSc, students who onlyundertake and successfully complete the 8 units will be awarded a PGDip.
The totals given above are based on completion of all elements within the year stated. The unit and dissertation costs are subject to yearly incremental rises and these values will increase each January.
