Planning Fieldwork

Students on fieldtrip to Snowdonia

Most Planning programmes include a fieldwork visit, which is an integral part of the course.

Follow the links below to read what our students thoughts about two of our fieldwork trips:

Snowdonia

"On day 2 we explored the purposes of a National Park further, through a lecture given by Peter Rutherford (Access Officer for the National Park Authority), which gave us food for thought. We discussed in particular the major dilemma faced by all National Parks: the balancing act between the environmental, social and economic aspects of park management. "

Barcelona

"The week ended with a fascinating walking tour discussing preservation of the historic environment by Angel Uzquenda, and the afternoon given to visit some of the exhibitions around the city, or recover before the evening’s debrief of the week and a final bonding session between the students at the clean and well facilitated hostel bar."
