Planning at Manchester has a distinguished reputation for excellence in teaching and research.
We offer four undergraduate courses providing you with the knowledge and the skills necessary for a career as a professional planner but also in other professional sectors:
- BA City & Regional Development (K421)
- BA Environmental Management (F851)
- BA Town & Country Planning (K402) - Partial RTPI Accreditation
- MTCP Town & Country Planning (4 Years) (K400) - Full RTPI Accreditation
We also have links with universities in other parts of Europe, the United States and Australia, many of which allow students to carry out part of their degree studies in one of these partner institutions.
Planning covers a wide range of teaching and research in a variety of subjects related to the environment and its development and management.
We are renowned internationally for our research, and apply this work directly into its teaching and learning programmes at all levels.
