A number of current research students in Planning and Landscape are working on topics related to this theme, and applications are welcome from prospective students wishing to undertake doctoral research which would complement and extend the current research activities of academic staff and researchers associated with this theme in areas such as strategic responses to environmental change, environmental assessment and the functioning of landscape systems.
