Fees
Tuition fees for research degrees usually cover the cost of your study at the University as well as charges for registration, tuition, supervision, examinations and graduation.
Payment of fees will also entitle you to membership of the Library, the Students' Union and the Athletic Union.
Students must be able to provide documentary evidence from a sponsor that these fees will be paid on receipt of an invoice or that they will be able to meet the cost themselves.
If the fees are not paid by the due date then a late payment charge will be incurred. International students who are transferring funds to the United Kingdom must ensure they allow plenty of time for the funds to clear to avoid the charge.
Tuition fees for the 2012/13 academic year are as follows:
UK/EU students, full-time: £4,700 per annum.
International students, full-time: £12,300 per annum
Part time fees are 50% of the full time fee.
