Planning postgraduate

What Our Students Say (Video)

With almost a hundred postgraduates, Manchester has one of the strongest concentrations of graduate planning students in the UK.

Our postgraduate students are drawn from a wide range of nationalities and academic disciplines. They work in a stimulating disciplinary environment with four research centres - CURE, CUPS, GURC and MARC - inside a School that uniquely combines planning with the disciplines of architecture, geography and development studies.

With an unparalleled density of social, cultural and sporting opportunities, and the largest concentration of professional practices outside London, Manchester is an excellent place for graduate planning studies.

Most of our postgraduate taught masters programmes in Planning are professionally accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
