Planning Students win the RTPI Quiz
Owen, Katie Delaney and James Grundy - beat off competition from University College London, Cardiff, Westminster and Birmingham to secure first place and a prize of £1500.
A second Manchester team finished in third place, but had the added consolation of winning the earlier regional heat for North West England.
Winning student and football fan, James Grundy, was delighted with the outcome, "It was like seeing Everton score a goal. I went a bit bonkers when we won," he confessed.
