IDPM postgraduate
With over 300 postgraduate students enrolling every year, IDPM is the UK's largest university-based postgraduate training centre specialising in international development.
Our objective is to promote social and economic development by enhancing the capabilities of individuals and organisations. Education and training are therefore a central part of our activities.
We provide training opportunities at two levels:
Training is provided within a friendly and supportive atmosphere, and is built on the expertise of a wide range of academic staff specialising in the practical problems of policy formulation and implementation, organisational design and management, backed up by specialist library and computing facilities and by 45 years of institutional experience.
The Institute's strong committment to high quality education and training is reflected in IDPM teaching having been rated excellent by an independent review panel of the Government's Quality Assurance Agency.
