Vacancy: Lecturer in Information Systems and Development (IDPM)
IDPM is seeking a lecturer to teach Master's modules on information systems and development; undertake research on information systems, ICTs and development; and contribute to development of a distance learning Master's programme.
The lecturer will be part of our new Centre for Development Informatics, a leading academic centre working on ICTs and international development.
The appointed candidate will be educated to at least Master's level with a track record of information systems teaching, research and publications, and with direct experience of information systems in developing economies.For those candidates who lack a sufficient research track record, appointment as a Teaching Fellow may be considered. The appointment is for two years initially from 1 Jan 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the likelihood of extension.
Salary in the range £32,458-£35,469 per annum.
