Funding Opportunities for Studies in Geography

 

Kathleen Tootill and Elsie Grimshaw Geography Masters Award

Applications are invited for the Kathleen Tootill and Elsie Grimshaw Geography Masters Award from holders of offers for the following programmes:

The awards are granted jointly by the School of Environment and Development and the University of Manchester Development and Alumni Relations office.

Three awards of £2,000 each will be paid directly to successful applicants upon registration on the programme.

Applicants should submit a letter detailing their reasons for studying their chosen masters programme and their plans for applying their learning following graduation by email to Leann Finch at leann.finch@manchester.ac.uk  

The closing date for applications is Friday 29th June 2012.

 

Geography Postgraduate Taught Merit Awards

Applications are invited for the Geography Postgraduate Taught Merit Awards from holders of offers for the following programmes:

A maximum of one award per masters programme of a £2,000 tuition fee waiver will be made to successful applicants upon registration on the programme.

To qualify to apply for the award, applicants must hold a 1st class honours first degree or equivalent.

Applicants should submit a letter detailing their reasons for studying their chosen masters programme and their plans for applying their learning following graduation by email to Leann Finch at leann.finch@manchester.ac.uk

The closing date for applications is Friday 29th June 2012.
