The Geographical Political Economy of Natural Gas Industry in China.
Supervisors: Dr. Gavin Bridge and Prof Neil Coe.
Research interests
China's energy security, oil and gas, energy geographies, global production network.
My research explores (1) how the economic geographies of China's gas sector work, (2) how they contribute to the gasification of Chinese economy, (3) how global production network (GPN) can help us understand the structures that take shape around (1) and (2), and ultimately how the answers to (1-3) respond to the debate of energy security.
