Geography is part of the School of Environment and Development (SED)

Undergraduate Programmes

We offer undergraduate degree courses in Geography (BA and BSc) and Geography & Geology, and we contribute to programmes in Environmental Studies and Environmental Science.

Geography has one of the best graduate employment records in the country.

Postgraduate Opportunities

Specialist postgraduate masters in Environmental Governance, Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Reconstruction, and Geographic Information Science (GIS).

We also welcome applications for postgraduate research (PhD) programme in human and physical geography.

News and Events

Martin Dodge's monograph Code/Space has won the AAG Meridian Book Award for the Outstanding Scholarly Work in Geography for 2011. The book is co-authored with Rob Kitchin and published by MIT Press.

Maria Kaika was made Professor of the City of Vienna 2012.
