Hannah joined MARC in June 2006 as a researcher working on an EPSRC-funded Supergen Futurenet project about social aspects of future electricity networks, electricity use and supply. Previous to this, Hannah held research positions at De Montfort University and Loughborough University where she worked on the relationship of values to value in the process of design within the construction industry. She is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.

Hannah has taught social research methods and delivered lectures to undergraduates and postgraduates for example, on social cognition (University of Leicester), qualitative research or behaviour and climate change (De Montfort University). She has supervised MSc dissertations and is currently supervising a PhD about the social-psychological aspects of a community hydrogen project on the island of Unst, Scotland.
