MA in Architecture and Urbanism
The future is urban, but what form will urban space take?
The MA Architecture and Urbanism explores these possible futures, and places advanced design practice and theory within the wider cultural, social and technological questions facing humanity.
The course draws upon a wide range of study to produce project based research within an interdisciplinary discourse. You are encouraged to engage in critical dialogues with a wide range of design practitioners and related disciplines, setting up dynamic communication networks.
The global nature of urban space is encouraged within the course. This is carried out through international research and practice networks, reinforced by an internationally diverse student body and staff.
The course is aimed at architects, urban designers, planners and urbanists. You will gain the intellectual, theoretical and practical knowledge and skills essential to understanding and shaping the future city.
