Postgraduate Masters

Postgraduate Masters in architecture at Manchester are offered as part of the activities of the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA), established in 1996 as a result of an innovative collaboration between the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

The MSA draws upon internationally recognised research and teaching expertise within both institutions, with the aim of creating a well resourced, interdisciplinary centre of excellence in architectural research and education.

The School offers an MA in Architecture and Urbanism run jointly by The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

Postgraduate Research (PhD)

Architecture PhD students Students participate in our graduate studies programme and benefit from involvement in research activities of the newly established Manchester Architecture Research Centre (MARC).
